Philadelphia alt-rock heavyweights Superheaven rolled into Edmonton’s Midway Music Hall Thursday night and delivered a crushing set of grunge-soaked riffs, towering melodies, and raw emotion. Riding the momentum of their long-awaited return, the band had the crowd locked in from the first note, with fans singing along to favourites like “Youngest Daughter” while embracing every wall of sound the quartet unleashed.

Opening the night were Los Angeles indie-rockers Modern Color and New Jersey shoegaze outfit All Under Heaven, who set the tone with atmospheric guitars and soaring soundscapes before Superheaven took over.
